Youth murdered, body found in jute bag

CHANDIGARH: A 24-year old youth's body was found packed in a jute bag in the forest area behind Sector 56 in Chandigarh on Saturday morning. The deceased has been identified as a resident of Palsora village near Sector 56. Police have registered a case of murder against unknown persons.

The face of deceased was damaged in an attempt to make him unidentified. Sources claimed that assailants must be more than two. SHO of PS 39, Inspector Dilsher Singh Chandel, said later the body was identified by the kin of deceased at the mortuary of GMSH-16.

Two teams consisting of members from crime branch and Operations Cell were constituted for cracking the murder case.
