Punjab government transfers 20 IAS, 6 PCS officers in major administrative reshuffle
Chandigarh: Punjab govt on Wednesday transferred 20 IAS and six PCS officers across the state. Vijay Namdeorao Zade, IAS (2002), who is secretary, expenditure (finance department), has been given additional charge of administrative secretary, NRI affairs.Ajit Balaji Joshi, IAS (2003), posted as administrative secretary (rural development and panchayats), with additional charge of administrative secretary, taxation, was assigned additional responsibilities. He now holds additional charge of administrative secretary (cooperation) and secretary, elections (local bodies), in place of Sumer Singh Gurjar.

Abhinav Trikha, IAS (2006), who was serving as administrative secretary (tourism and cultural affairs) has been posted as secretary, finance. Kanwal Preet Brar, IAS (2007), who was earlier available for posting, was given the charge of secretary (health and family welfare) and commissioner (food and drug administration).Kumar Amit, who was serving as special principal secretary to the chief minister, Punjab, and in addition was managing director, MARKFED, has been given additional charge of administrative secretary (tourism and cultural affairs). Vimal Kumar Setia, who was available for posting, was posted as secretary (home affairs) Puneet Goyal, who was also available for posting, was given the charge of special secretary (medical education and research), relieving Rahul Gupta of the additional charge.
