The whole state is still in shock at the ultimate demise of Kerala man, Deepak, who took his life after a video she posted, accusing him of sexual harassment during a bus journey, went viral on social media. Social media is full of videos from both netizens and celebrities mourning this unfortunate incident.
Recently, singer and Bigg Boss Malayalam 7 finalist Akhbar Khan shared a video on his social media account reacting to this incident. In the video, Akbar says that he has also faced the brunt of women making false allegations against men during his stint in the Bigg Boss house.
"I have also faced a similar experience in Bigg Boss. In front of that many cameras, a woman dared to make a false allegation against me. Even the people who had witnessed the scene didn't speak a word in support of me. Social media celebrated this, giving me the nickname 'Jacky,'" he said.
Further, in the video, Akbar shared that such incidents will prevail if a woman dares to find the loopholes in the women's safety rules and decides to use them against men. He concludes the video, questioning all, not pushing anyone to such an extreme of taking their own lives with some fake allegations.
'People won’t change. Only the victims change forever. Deepak is proof,' Akbar captioned the video.
For the unversed, during one of the episodes of Bigg Boss Malayalam 7, Anumol was seen making a derogatory comment against Akbar. She alleged Akbar had inappropriately touched her during one of the physical tasks and compared him to 'an antisocial in a bus'. This ended up in a huge issue as Akbar lashed out at Anumol for the filthy comment.
