Amritsar:
Navjot Kaur Sidhu's recent remarks slamming the Congress leadership have intensified speculation regarding her return to the BJP. Adding fuel to the fire was her social media post on Wednesday.
"People are sick of your lies and lies. You scare people and the press. A true Punjabi is truthful, caring, loving, compassionate and trustworthy.... You broke the hearts of innocent people. WaheGuru ji will never forgive you because He gives grace and good positions to us, but we choose to become beggars," her post on X read.

Characterised by a blend of spiritual moralising and political critique, the post appears to be a calculated attempt to reinvent her image—shifting from "party-hopper" to a crusader for "Punjabiyat," according to sources.
Ravinder Singh, a senior political analyst, said Kaur is positioning herself as a leader wronged by the Congress, purified by reflection, and ready for political rehabilitation—most likely within the BJP.
Expelled from the Congress following her controversial "Rs 500-crore bag for CM" comment, Kaur has increasingly criticised the party for alleged moral decay, leadership failures, and the betrayal of Punjab's interests. Over the past few weeks, she has frequently praised senior BJP leaders, shared photographs with Union minister Nitin Gadkari, labelling him a "visionary leader" and expressed public admiration for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
