Dharamshala: BJP MP Anurag Thakur, chief whip of the party, got the attention of all, including Prime Minister Narendera Modi, when he posted a selfie wearing a hoodie with ‘Namo again’ printed on it. But on Thursday, this photo was altered, with ‘Chowkidar chor he’ replacing ‘Namo again’. Himachal Police have registered a case in this regard. The police said that Madan Puri, a local resident of the Una town, filed a complaint at Sadar police station complaining against the alteration to Thakur’s photo.Sarvjeet Singh, officer in-charge at the police station confirmed the complaint. “We have registered a case under Section 67 of IT ACT. Investigation is on, but none arrested till now,” he said.On Wednesday, Thakur uploaded his selfie on Twitter and Modi tweeted it, saying “looking good”, to which Thakur expressed his thanks for the compliment. The tweet received 6,992 likes and was retweeted 1,448 times till Thursday noon.
