Keonjhar: A 45-year-old man allegedly hacked his 70-year-old father to death following an argument early on Monday on the outskirts of Patna police station limits. The deceased was identified as Dhruv Naik, while the accused, Uddhav, has been arrested.
Sources said a heated argument broke out between the two over Uddhav coming home late. In the heat of the moment, Uddhav attacked his father with a hacksaw, killing him on the spot.
On receiving information, police rushed to the spot, seized the body and sent it to Patna CHC for post-mortem. Patna police station IIC Kiran Prasad Sahu said the accused has been arrested and the weapon used in the crime seized.
