3 youths held for operating mule a/cs
Rourkela: Three youths were arrested by Cyber police on Thursday for their alleged involvement in operating mule bank accounts through which over Rs 8 crore have been transacted. The arrested youths have been identified as Ronak Das, Rosan Ray and Sahahnawaj Khan, all in their 20s.At a press meet here on Thursday, DIG (western range) Brijesh Rai and SP (Rourkela) Nitesh Wadhwani informed about the arrests. “As part of the statewide special cyber crime enforcement initiative ‘Operation Cyber Kavach’, Rourkela police intensified coordinated enforcement action across the district to identify, disrupt and dismantle cyber fraud network,” stated the Rourkela police release.

Wadhwani said probe is on to identify others involved in operating the mule account and the network. According to Rourkela police, 10 cyber crime cases across various police stations, have been registered, 17 accused identified and booked and 86 mule accounts verified till date under the operation.
