29-year-old delivery executive dies in accident

Sambalpur: A road accident at Maneswar Chhak under Sadar police station limits claimed the life of a 29-year-old man on Thursday. The deceased has been identified as Prakash Bag of Danibandh and was working as a delivery executive.Police sources said the accident took place around 11 am when Prakash was on his way from Sambalpur to Maneswar to deliver an online order to a customer. His vehicle rammed into a truck that was allegedly parked illegally on the highway, leading to his death on the spot.Upon receiving information, police rushed to the scene, seized the body, and sent it to the hospital for autopsy. Police have initiated an investigation into the incident focusing on why the heavy vehicle was parked illegally on the roadside.
