Woman critical after husband stabs her over bike keys

Bhopal: A man allegedly attacked his wife with a knife in the Gandhi Nagar area after she refused to hand over the keys to his vehicle while he was intoxicated on Wednesday evening. The woman sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment in critical condition at Hamidia Hospital. According to the investigating officer (head constable) Mohan Shreshtha, the accused, Irfan Khan returned home in an inebriated condition and demanded the bike keys from his wife, Saba Khan (34), to go out. When she refused, an argument broke out between the couple. Police detained the accused late at night and are questioning him.
