School round up: Africa comes alive at Billabong High International School

BillabongBHISSujataLakhaniBHIScolourjewellery New school inaugurated: GVN Global School was inaugurated by chairman of the IPS group Ashok Nanda on Thursday. The inauguration was held in the presence of 100 students along with their parents. Following Saraswati Vandana, the teachers of GVN Global School chanted verses from different religions. The students then sang "If you are happy and you know it." Ashok Nanda shared his views on the educational scenario in his welcome address. "Ten years from now there will likely be a number of global schools and GVN plans to be the best among them," he said. Vatsala Singh has been appointed as the academic head of the institution.
