Indore: A woman, her two children were killed, and three persons injured on Monday morning after a tanker rammed into their motorcycle on Dhar Road under Chandan Nagar police station limits. Six members of a family were reportedly riding on a single motorcycle when the accident took place.The family was travelling from Aurangpuri to a village in the Dewas district to attend a ritual following the death of a relative. As they reached near Hilink Colony on Dhar Road, a tanker allegedly struck their motorcycle from behind.The impact of the collision was so fierce that two-year-old Rohan and one-year-old Santoshi died on the spot. Their mother, Anita Deora, 28, succumbed to her injuries inside the ambulance while being transported to the hospital.The other riders, Ashok Deora, 30, Vaishnavi, 4, and another relative Rajesh Bhusariya, were severely injured. Chandan Nagar police station in-charge Tilak Karole said that the injured are currently undergoing medical treatment.“Following the accident, the tanker was seized and its 30-year-old driver Amit Vaishnav, a resident of Jalore, was arrested,” Karole said.The police sent the bodies for postmortem examinations. A case was registered.
