Man rapes minor, films & uploads video, held

Bhopal: A man in Anuppur district allegedly raped a minor, filmed the ordeal and later used the video to blackmail her. The man has been arrested. Police said the complaint was lodged on March 24 at a police station, where the minor, accompanied by her father and sister, alleged that after raping her, the accused pressured her for marriage and continued contact, and when she refused, he allegedly accessed her Instagram account and circulated the video to defame and threaten her when his demands were not met.During interrogation, the man admitted that when the minor refused to meet him and marry him, he blackmailed her and when she did not agree, he uploaded a video online. He was produced before court, which sent him to jail. tnn
