Man rapes & abducts woman on her way back home in city

Bhopal: A man allegedly abducted and raped a 29-year-old woman in Bhopal.According to police, the complainant said that around two months back she had come in contact with the accused through Instagram. She had recently stopped communicating with him. The woman alleged that on Friday night, she was returning home after visiting a relative admitted in a hospital when the accused called her. After the call, the accused intercepted her and took her with him to a hotel on the pretext of talking. At the hotel, he held her captive in a room and raped her. The woman narrated the ordeal to her family members after reaching her home. Based on the woman's statement, police have registered a rape case.
