Bhopal: An LPG cylinder was stolen from outside a gas agency at Gwalior on Saturday, with the entire incident captured on CCTV.
The theft took place between 12pm and 12.30pm when Jaswant Jatav, a resident of Utila village, had come to the agency to register his cylinder number. While he was at the counter, his LPG cylinder was kept outside the premises.
CCTV footage shows an unidentified man loitering near the cylinder before picking it up and walking away. The theft was carried out in less than 60 seconds, and no one nearby noticed it at the time.
When Jatav returned, the cylinder was missing. He searched the area but could not find it.
Police said no written complaint has been received so far. Efforts are on to identify the man seen in the CCTV footage.
