Farmer dies in poachers’ electric trap

Bhopal: A farmer was killed due to an electric wire trap laid by poachers in Anuppur district. Locals informed the matter to police and the body was sent for the post-mortem examination at the Community Health Centre in Kotma. The deceased has been identified as Komal Singh. Police said a case has been registered against unidentified persons. Poachers had set up an electric trap around his field for capturing wild animals.Komal Singh fell victim to this lethal trap, leading to his death on the spot. Additionally, a dead cow was also found close to the scene. The incident was reported from Godaru village, situated between Shahdol and Anuppur districts.
