E-scooter sparks blaze at Rachna Tower, SUV caught in crossfire

Bhopal: A major disaster was averted at a residential complex in Rachna Nagar here on Monday afternoon after an electric two-wheeler caught fire which later engulfed another SUV parked nearby.

Prompt action by staff and residents of Rachna Tower in removing vehicles parked nearby and dousing the flames stopped the flames from spreading to residential flames above. By the time fire brigade arrived, both the vehicles were completely gutted.

According to Bhopal Municipal Corporation (BMC), the incident occurred around 1:30 PM, triggering panic among residents of the multi-storey complex. The exact cause of the fire was unknown as the vehicle was not charging when the incident took place.
