Bhopal: A 22-year-old daily wage worker was found dead in an apparent suicide at his rented residence in Ayodhya Nagar. His body was found in the bathroom of his home in Orchid Green Colony late Sunday evening.Ayodhya Nagar police said that no suicide note was found, and family members could not provide any explanation for his drastic decision.The deceased has been identified as Sunil Shakya, who lived with his wife and their eight-month-old child. His parents and younger brother reside in Omkara Sevania. According to police, Sunil's younger brother had visited him on Sunday to take him along for Hathi Puja rituals. Sunil reportedly advised his brother to take his wife and child ahead, assuring him that he would join them after dinner. However, when his brother called Sunil around 8 pm, there was no response.Concerned, the brother tried to enter Sunil's room but found the bathroom door locked from inside. Despite repeated knocking, there was no reply. Police were alerted and, after breaking open the door, found Sunil dead inside.Police confirmed that no suicide note was recovered, and family members, who were questioned, expressed shock and stated Sunil had shown no signs of distress. A case has been registered, and further investigation is ongoing.This tragic incident is being investigated by Ayodhya Nagar police.
