Bhopal: CM Mohan Yadav on Sunday blamed Opposition parties for stalling the Women's Reservation Bill in Parliament, and said his govt would ensure women get their "rightful share in everything and everywhere", setting the tone for Monday's special assembly session.
Yadav said five generations of the Congress had done "gross injustice" with women of the country. "We shall ensure that women get their rightful share in everything and everywhere," he said while informally talking to media persons after hearing the PM's monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat' with people at a restaurant on VIP Road.
He said that the Women Reservation Bill tabled by the Modi govt in Parliament couldn't be passed due to non-cooperation of opposition parties and people of the country will never forgive them for it.
On procurement of wheat and other Rabi crops by the state govt, he said in addition to wheat, gram and masoor was also being purchased on MSP.
