Bhopal: It was the warmest night of this season so far for Bhopal on Sunday as the night temperature was recorded above 22 degrees Celsius.
Weather was expected to change in the state and a respite from rising temperatures in the form of thunderstorm and gusty winds was expected in over ten places on Monday.
The city may also witness showers in a day or two due to the impact of multiple weather systems over the state.
The day temperature in Bhopal on Sunday was recorded at 36.6 degrees Celsius while the night temperature in the city was 22.2 degrees Celsius.
In the forecast for Bhopal on Monday, the meteorological department said there would be mainly clear sky. The fay and night temperature would be respectively 37 degrees and 21 degrees Celsius, while average wind speed will be 14 kilometers per hour.
In the forecast for the state, the meteorological dept issued a warning of thunderstorm, lightning and gusty winds for Rajgarh, Agar, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Bhind, Morena and Sheopur districts. A dry weather would prevail over remaining places in the state, the meteorological department said.
