23-yr-old woman abducted from farm in Ratibad

Bhopal: A 23-year-old woman was allegedly abducted by a neighbouring youth in his car from her farm at a village in Ratibad locality on Monday morning. Acting on the woman’s father’s complaint, Ratibad police registered an abduction case against the accused and started investigations.
Police said that the woman’s brother married the accused youth’s sister a few days back.The woman’s family members raised suspicion that the accused abducted her to take revenge.
Station in-charge Ratibad Manoj Dave said that the woman’s father in his complaint stated that his daughter left home on Monday morning around 8am saying that she was going to their field. His grandson came running home and informed that the accused Sumit, who resides in their neighbourhood, abducted the girl in his car. Subsequently they approached Ratibad police station and lodged a complaint. tnn
