KFCC blast death case: Stunt manager arrested, others at large
BENGALURU: Three days after a 28-year-old woman and her four-year-old daughter were killed in a gas cylinder blast during the shooting of a Kannada film, Bagalur police have arrested the movie’s stunt manager.
Ranam stunt manager Subash was hiding in Kengeri from where he was taken into custody on Monday for further probe, said DCP (northeast) Kala Krishnaswamy.

A police source said the film crew had not taken permission for the shooting. Besides, the accused had not taken any security measures while shooting the stunt scene.
Prime accused Vijayan, the stunt director of the film, was supposed to catch a flight at 7pm after finishing the shooting on Friday. Police rushed to Kempegowda International Airport to nab him, but Vijayan had by then escaped to Chennai via road.
Besides Vijayan, police are now on the lookout for producer Shrinivas R, director V Samudra, production manager Kiran and other crew members.
The equipment used in the film shooting have been seized for further investigation.
