Stone-pelting at temple procession in Bengaluru's JJ Nagar, children among injured; FIR filed

BENGALURU: Tension prevailed in Jagjeevan Ram Nagar on Sunday night after stones were allegedly hurled at devotees pulling a deity’s chariot during a procession from the local Om Shakti temple, police said to news agency PTI. A police officer said a complaint had been received alleging that miscreants pelted stones at the chariot during the procession. Sources claimed that a child sustained a head injury and a young girl was also struck on the head in the incident.
