Bengaluru: Mysuru’s Shashank Keshav Rao (OMTTA) and Belagavi’s Ayushi B Godse (BTT) won the U-13 boys and girls singles titles respectively in the CVL Shastry memorial state table tennis tournament here on Sunday. Himanshi Chowdhary (Skies) claimed top honours among U-15 girls.
In the U-13 boys final, Shashank defeated Aarnav N in five games dropping the second. He prevailed 11-8, 7-11, 11-9, 11-1, 11-8. Ayushi also won 4-1 against Tanishka K Kalbhairav (11-4, 11-8, 11-4, 10-12, 11-9). In the girls U-15 final, Himanshi beat Ayushi 6-11, 9-11, 11-7, 11-7, 11-9, 11-7.
