NEW DELHI: A woman reportedly crashed her SUV through the glass entrance of a luxury hotel in Bareilly late on Friday.
As per the media reports, the incident took place at Hotel Ramada, located in the upscale Civil Lines area under the Baradari police station limits.
While the accident occurred late Friday, CCTV footage of the crash began circulating widely on social media from Sunday.
Here's what happened?As per the reports, the woman was leaving the hotel with her husband after dinner.
While reversing her vehicle, she mistakenly pressed the accelerator instead of the brake.
The SUV surged backward at high speed, shattered the hotel's glass entrance, and rammed straight into the reception area.
The entire incident was captured on the hotel’s CCTV cameras.
The video shows that as the SUV suddenly accelerates in reverse, people can be seen fleeing from the hotel’s entrance. The vehicle crashes violently through the glass doors, causing chaos inside the reception area.
No injuries have been reported so far, but the crash caused significant panic and damage to property.
