Yuva Lok Manch, Apna Dal join protest too

ALLAHABAD: More organisations including Yuva Lokmanch and Apna Dal on Wednesday extended their support to the activists of the Abhibhawak Ekta Samiti who are observing indefinite fast in protest against the persistent hike in the school fees. Former BJP minister, Dr Narendra Kumar Singh Gaur has also supported the move.Speaking on the occasion, former BJP minister, Gaur said thatbe it poor or rich, education should be equal for all individuals and thereshould be equal policy for education across the country. He added that there wasan immediate need to check the arbitatory of schools rising fee structures everyyear.Meanwhile, speakers on the occasion said that a group ofschools are hiking school fees on their wish and their action has been affectingthe financial burden of the parents. State general secretary ofAbhibhawak Ekta Samiti Suman Goswami on the occasion sought the assistance ofpeople from all corners of the society asserting that education is the basicfundamental right of the children. She added that samiti has also issued ahelpline number 9415634049 and people could express their views/reactions onthis number. Besides, leaders from other political parties includingCongress and Samajwadi Party and various other organisations too supported thesamiti activists approach to raise voice against fee hike in schools.
