Tablets to update TB patients' status online

ALLAHABAD:The members of the ongoing campaign to eradicate

tuberculosis

by 2025 in Allahabad district will now be equipped with tablets. With this, the supervisors concerned would be able to update the status of patients online anywhere, anytime. Also, the registered

TB

patients on the portal would be able to get medicines across the country. The tablets will be distributed on Saturday.

In all 93 tablets would be distributed to TB supervisors who would work on a web-based solution to monitor TB patients at district level.

said "Under the Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme, the union and state governments have distributed tablets among supervisors to update the status of all TB patients online. Also, reporting of all sorts of tests and treatment records including distribution of drugs would be maintained online.
