MNNIT begins application process for 77 MBA seats
Prayagraj: The School of Management Studies, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad (MNNIT), has started the application process for admission to 77 seats in the two-year MBA programme for the 2026-28 session.According to officials, candidates who qualified in the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT) can apply for the programme through the institute's official website. The online application process started on Feb 27 and will remain open until April 30.
Head of the department, Prof GP Sahu, said after submitting the online form, candidates are also required to send a hard copy of the application form to the School of Management Studies office at MNNIT by May 8. Following the completion of the application process, the institute will release the list of eligible candidates on May 15. Shortlisted applicants will then participate in the next stages of the selection process, which include group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI), scheduled for May 30 and May 31. The final selection will be based on the candidates' overall performance in these stages, along with their academic and entrance examination records. The institute announced that the final result will be declared on June 12, after which selected candidates must complete the formalities within the timeframe. Officials said the MBA programme is designed to meet the evolving needs of industry and business. The curriculum focuses not only on theoretical management concepts but also emphasises practical training, industry exposure and modern business skills, preparing students for leadership roles in the corporate sector.
