Boy's death: HC for FIR against cops

ALLAHABAD: The Allahabad high court on Friday took a serious note of a 14-year-old boy's death in road accident. The boy -- Aditya Dubey -- died at Balson Crossing under Colonelganj police station.The HC directed the local police authorities to lodge an FIRunder Section 304 Part-II against two constables, who had allegedly permittedthe truck to enter in the city during no-entry period.Besides, thecourt also directed that inquiry into the case be initiated against the trafficinspector concerned. This order was passed by a division bench consisting ofJustice Vinod Prasad and Justice R Chandra on a PIL relating to smooth flow oftraffic in the Allahabad City.As per the direction of the court, SP (traffic) US Jaiswal, circle officer (traffic) and authorities of AMC and other departments were present in the court.
