BJP workers celebrate party’s win in city

Prayagraj: Grand celebrations were underway at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) headquarters in the city as well as trans Ganga and trans Yamuna pockets of the district as the party recorded a historic and clear majority mandate in the West Bengal and Assam assembly polls.

Party workers, holding party flags and banners, danced to dhols and distributed sweets.



Senior party leaders congratulated party workers and enjoyed the triumph of the party in Assam, and West Bengal and NDA’s win in Pondicherry. Women party workers were seen crying with emotion as the election trends indicated a favourable outcome for the party against the incumbent state government.



District media in-charge Dilip Kumar Chaturvedi said that this victory is the victory of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s development works and the unwavering faith of the people.
