AHMEDABAD: On Sunday, the state capital Gandhinagar recorded the lowest minimum temperature in Gujarat at 11.8C, the lowest so far this season. At 16C, the city's minimum temperature was on par with normal, whereas at 31.1C, the maximum temperature was 0.9C lower than normal.
According to the
India Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast, the city may experience a minimum temperature of about 17C on Monday. North-easterly to easterly winds are prevailing over the lower levels of the region, mentioned the forecast. The forecast added that there will be no major change in minimum temperatures over the region during the next five days.
While Gandhinagar recorded the lowest minimum temperature, Rajkot recorded the highest maximum temperature at 33.8C in Gujarat.
