UP shocker: Woman gives country-made pistol to lover to kill husband; he shoots, then surrenders

In Aligarh, a woman and her lover have been arrested in connection with the murder of her husband. Beena Devi allegedly provided Manoj Kumar with a country-made pistol, with which he shot and killed Suresh Kumar outside his home. The motive appears to be an illicit affair between Beena and Manoj, leading to frequent quarrels between the couple.

AGRA: In a case of betrayal and murder, a woman allegedly procured a country-made pistol and gave it to her lover to eliminate her husband for good. And on Thursday morning, when her husband, Suresh Kumar, 38, was sitting outside his house, the lover arrived and shot him dead.The crime took place in Kothi locality of Barla town in Aligarh district. Suresh Kumar worked as a security guard in Noida and had come home just four days back. Hearing a gunshot, Suresh's elder brother, Vijay, rushed out of the house, and on seeing him, the accused also fired at him, but the bullet missed.After shooting Kumar dead, accused Manoj Kumar, 35, a grocery shop owner in Kothi locality, went straight to the area police station and surrendered. Police arrived at the crime spot and sent the body for post-mortem examination. The woman, Beena Devi (around 35 years), was arrested. Police are questioning her to find out the source of the gun.

SP (rural) Amrit Jain said, "After receiving information that a man was shot dead, police rushed to the spot and launched an investigation. It was found that the victim's wife was in a relationship with the accused from the same village, and the husband and wife often quarreled over this issue. A case was registered under BNS section 103 (murder). An investigation is underway."
