Dish TV fined again over lack of board strength

Dish TV faces penalties from BSE and NSE for board composition issues and lack of quorum, violating Sebi's Listing Regulations for the quarter ending June 30. This isn't the first time; the company was fined in 2023 and 2024 for similar reasons. Dish TV attributes the non-compliance to shareholders' disapproval of director appointments, citing circumstances beyond its control.
