Master Blaster to the rescue
Sachin Tendulkar to be the super hero of a new comic book series.
Sachin Tendulkar has now officially acquired super hero status. The master blaster has been signed on by the Richard-Branson-Shekhar Kapur-Deepak Chopra new venture, Virgin Comics, to star in his own comic book series this summer.
The comic book hero will be called 'Sachin Tendulkar Master Blaster'and will also feature in an animation and games series.
The toon hero will fight off in his new avatar not just opposing cricketing nations, but baddies too, and he will be equipped with his willow, biceps and will power!
Confirming the news, Gotham Chopra said, "We've picked Sachin because he's an icon, a good family man and a great role model. He has a serenity about him that appeals to all genders. And, besides, he has the coolest nickname in 'Master Blaster!'"
