Time for some Khushi

SHRI Jaimatha Combines, which has produced films like Naa Ninna Bidalare with Ananth Nag and Lakshmi, Auto Raja with Shankar Nag, Kamana Billu with Dr Raj Kumar and Galate Samsara with Rajinikanth, is shortly launching Khushi.Vijay Raghavendra of Ninagagi fame is the protagonist. It will be written, directed and produced by Prakash. “I have been part of all the films my company (Shri Jaimatha Combines) has handled till date. Now I am ready to take up the responsibility of expressing myself through the medium of cinema,� says Prakash, who has also made a music video for ETV.Prakash says the film has a strong script and an equally strong message. But adds that it is not a love story. “It’s more about today’s generation and their attitudes.� It also deals with the generation gap issue. The film stretches over three generations, with Leelavathi playing the oldest generation, and Ananth Nag and Avinash the next. Vijay Raghvendra will represent the current generation. This film will also see the launch of two new faces. Musician Gurukiran will compose the music for this film. The photography is by Ramesh Babu, who has worked on many Vishnuvardhan films and has also worked with the Ninagagi team.The director is on a lookout for new faces in their 20s.
