Kinetic's big return story! Three new e-scooters by Kinetic Green
Kinetic Green has announced a major expansion plan to strengthen its electric two-wheeler business. The company revived the iconic Luna model in a new electric avatar last year and has been retailing it in both personal and commercial markets. Building on this, the manufacturer now plans to roll out three new electric scooters over the next 18 months. Here’s a quick look at the key details around this expansion.

Kinetic Green expansion: Key highlights

The first model, a family e-scooter, will arrive ahead of the 2025 festive season. The company says that it will feature a retro-inspired design with modern features like a TFT screen, fast-charging options, and IoT integration co-developed with Jio Things. The scooter will be offered in multiple battery variants to suit different budgets.

Furthermore, Kinetic Green has tied up with Italy’s Torino Design to co-create a new range of futuristic, Born-Electric scooters. These next-gen models will feature futuristic styling, as the case has so far been in the Indian electric mobility space. Sulajja Firodia Motwani, Founder and CEO of Kinetic Green, said the company is poised for aggressive growth, having already sold over 80,000 electric two-wheelers and set up a network of 400 dealerships. Kinetic Green’s journey in the EV space began in 2016 with electric three-wheelers. It entered the two-wheeler segment in 2022, and the E-Luna, launched in 2024. In 2024-25, India saw 1.15 million electric two-wheelers sold, with 90% of them being e-scooters. Market forecasts suggest that e-scooter adoption will rise from 15% to 70% in the next five years.
