Actor Sanjay Dutt buys Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 worth Rs 3.4 crore: Details
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt has added one of the most luxurious SUVs in India to his garage ahead of the release of Baaghi 4. The star has brought home the 2025 Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC, priced at Rs 3.39 crore, ex-showroom. Dutt took delivery of the SUV in Mumbai through Auto Hangar India, with pictures showing him standing proudly next to the new Maybach adorned with a traditional garland.
The GLS 600 is the flagship SUV from Mercedes-Maybach and with the 2025 update features a redesigned grille, Maybach monoblock alloy wheels, and subtle styling enhancements, while still retaining the signature chrome-heavy look.
Inside, the cabin doubles as a luxury lounge. Sanjay Dutt’s SUV gets reclining rear seats, a panoramic sunroof, 12.3-inch touchscreen, 64-colour ambient lighting, and even a 27-speaker sound system. The Maybach treatment also brings premium upholstery options and a long list of bespoke trims.
Despite being a massive luxury SUV, the GLS 600 is no slouch. It packs a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. Combined, it produces 557 hp and 730 Nm of torque, with 22 hp and 250 Nm coming from the hybrid system alone. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic gearbox and Mercedes’ 4MATIC system. Performance is impressive for its size: 0-100 kmph comes up in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 kmph.
On the safety front, the GLS 600 is packed with ADAS features including adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, high-beam assist, and autonomous emergency braking.
