NEW DELHI: The Virginia State University in on lockdown after a shooting on campus, US media reported on Friday.
"Shooting on campus - go/stay indoors. Avoid area. Police on scene. Campus on lock down," the official handle of the Virginia State University said in a tweet.

Media reports claimed that a person has been shot.
This is the second shooting on the campus in less than a week.
One man had sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound during after a gunman opened fire in the parking lot of the university's football stadium on Sunday.
Police had called it an "isolated incident".
The suspect in that shooting is still at large.
