The issue traces back to October 2025, when Clancy initially told Kai face to face during Mafiathon 3 that he belonged on the platform’s Mount Rushmore. Later, on Mizkif’s stream, Clancy changed his tone, saying he only included Kai because Kai had asked him directly. This shift upset Kai, who felt the Twitch CEO had contradicted himself and failed to take responsibility for what he had said earlier.

He said Clancy had told Mizkif that Kai was only included because he asked, which completely contradicted what he had said earlier.
