Moscow Concert Hall Shooting Live Updates: Russia concert hall death toll rises to 137

Moscow Concert Attack: Russia was rocked by one of the deadliest attacks it witnessed in decades on Friday night on the outskirts of Moscow. Over 115 people have been killed and several wounded in the terror attack at the Crocus City Hall, the responsibility of which has been claimed by the Islamic State group.

IS fighters "attacked a large gathering... on the outskirts of the Russian capital Moscow", the group said in a statement on the Telegram messaging app.

Meanwhile, lawmaker Alexander Khinshtein has claimed that two people suspected of carrying out a deadly attack have been detained in Russia's Bryansk region following a car chase. According to the state agencies, 11 more people have been detained.

Late at night on Friday, a few camouflage-clade men entered the Music hall in Moscow and opened indiscriminate firing at the crowd. The men in fatigues hurled explosives, igniting a large fire at the Krasnogorsk-based hall capable of housing 6,000 people.

The attack comes days after the US intelligence agency had warned its citizens against attending large public gatherings in Russia in the wake of the possible terror attack.
