Japan training drill turns fatal: 3 soldiers killed in tank misfire
Three Japanese soldiers dies after their own tank misfired on Tuesday. The unusual accident at a Japan Self-Defence Forces training ground in the southwestern Oita region left three crew members dead and another injured after a tank’s ammunition misfired inside, Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi said, as quoted by AFP.The cause of the accident is under investigation, the Prime Minister further said, calling the incident “truly regrettable” and offering her “heartfelt condolences.”
