PM Modi speaks to Iran President, urges de-escalation
NEW DELHI: As the US waded into the Israel-Iran war, PM Narendra Modi, in a conversation with Iran President Masoud Pezeshkian, expressed "deep concern" at the recent escalation and urged immediate de-escalation and restoration of peace and stability in a region crucial to India's interests.
