'Dismantling Hezbollah': IDF bodycam footage captures night operations in Lebanon - watch video
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Thursday released bodycam footage showing coordinated strikes carried out against infrastructure linked to the Lebanon-based militant group Hezbollah.
The strikes were carried out in Beirut and South Lebanon. According to the video shared by the IDF, debris from the command centres used by Hezbollah operatives could be seen scattered around the site, while plumes of smoke rose as Israeli troops fired shots during the operation.
In a post on X, the IDF said that its forces were continuing operations near the border to ensure the safety of civilians in northern Israel.
“IDF troops continue to maintain a forward defensive posture to protect the residents of northern Israel. Over the past week, our troops conducted targeted night operations in southern Lebanon, dismantling Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure,” the Israeli military wrote.
According to the IDF Spokesperson’s Unit, several Hezbollah command centres were struck from where militants allegedly operated and planned attacks against Israel and its civilians.
In a statement issued, the IDF alleged that Hezbollah embeds its infrastructure within civilian areas across Lebanon, calling it a tactic that endangers civilians, according to state media Israel National News.
“Prior to the strikes, measures were taken to minimize the risk of harm to civilians, including advance warnings, the use of precision munitions, and aerial surveillance,” the IDF said.
“The IDF is operating with determination against the Hezbollah terrorist organization following its deliberate decision to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian regime. The IDF will not tolerate any harm to the residents of the State of Israel,” the statement added.
Earlier, the IDF said that overnight operations carried out by its air force had eliminated Ali Muslim Tabaja, a commander linked to the Imam Hossein Division.
The IDF also said that it eliminated the commander of Hezbollah’s Radwan Force in southern Lebanon.
According to the military, more than 100 militants have been killed so far, while over 60 Radwan Force command and control centres have been dismantled during the ongoing operations.

As human rights advocates , we have nine honest questions to progressives, seculars, and Muslims: Imagine if Palestinians were to be in total control; 1. Would it be Islamic Republic or a secular nation? Would Jews, Christians and other groups enjoy the equal rights? 2. Would it have a constitution based on 21st century secularism or 7th century Sharia law (and that too of what version)? 3. Would it be like Lebanon or Syria or Yemen or Iraq or Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan? 4. Would diversity be respected? 5. Would women have equal freedoms? Would they be forced to wear a tent. 6. What are their track records for respecting Muslim minorities (Shias, Kurds, Ahmadias, Hazaras etc) AND non Muslim minorities (Christian, Jews, Yazidis, Hindus, Budhists, Sikhs, Zoroastrians), and women’s freedoms in those countries? 7. Any ethnic or religious cleansing? 8. Would elections be held regularly? 9. Will they be respected? Those are down voting, answer these questions to have meaningful conversations.Read allPost comment
