IDF also acknowledged the strike by Hezbollah by posting videos of the destruction. "This is the type of destruction Hezbollah’s rockets are designed to create. Less than an hour ago, a family was able to live in this house," IDF said on X.

A rocket struck a residential building in Haifa, which authorities had warned was at risk of collapsing. It remains uncertain whether the injuries and damage were caused by the rockets themselves or by the interceptors.

Hezbollah began launching rockets, missiles, and drones into Israel following Hamas' attack from the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, which triggered the war in the region. Israel's rescue service said it is treating seven individuals, including a 60-year-old man in serious condition due to rocket fire in northern Israel, a 23-year-old man who sustained minor injuries from an explosion in Petah Tikva, and a 70-year-old woman who experienced smoke inhalation after a car fire in the city.

An Israeli airstrike on a Lebanese army facility along the southwestern coastal road between Tyre and Naqoura killed one soldier and injured 18 others, according to Lebanon's military. Israel's forces expressed regret over the incident, explaining that the strike took place in a combat zone against Hezbollah and that their operations are aimed solely at the militant group.

Since the beginning of the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah, Israeli strikes have killed more than 40 Lebanese soldiers.
