Russia has launched a barrage of drones and missiles on the Ukrainian capital Kyiv and the Dnipro district early on Tuesday, injuring one person and disrupting the power and water supply, the city mayor Vitaliy Klychko confirmed through his Telegram channel.
Urging the residents to stay under cover, the mayor said that the power supply has been disrupted due to the strikes at the eastern bank of the Dnipro River. Updating on the situation, the mayor wrote, "One injured in the Dnipro district of Kyiv. The team has left. There are still calls for medics."

Videos of blackouts and power cuts across parts of the city have also been widely shared online.
