Xi Jinping says China's development will create opportunities for Brazil

BEIJING: President Xi Jinping told his Brazilian counterpart Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva on Friday China's development would create "new opportunities" for Brazil and the world, an official readout showed.

"China will pursue high-quality development, accelerate the creation of a new development paradigm and promote high-standard opening-up. This will unlock new opportunities for Brazil and countries around the world," said the readout from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which was carried by state media.
