Seema Pahwa to take on a brand new challenge with her new project

Seema Pahwa who caught the audience’s eye with her spirited performances in ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ as Kriti Sanon’s mother and in Shubh Mangal Saavdhan as Bhumi Pednekar’s mother is set to appear in a new avatar. While she will be making her directorial debut with a film titled ‘Pind Daan’, Seema will be next seen in the MX Original Series - Aafat that will stream for free on Times Group’s OTT platform - MX Player.

The series will showcase the struggles of five girls in their quest to find a groom. Seema Pahwa will be seen playing a north-Indian Jodi Maker/Marriage Agent in the show.

Seema’s new character will be a far-cry from the ‘motherly’ roles that have made her famous.
