'The Fiery Priest season 2' finale rescheduled due to 2024 SBS Drama Awards

The hit South Korean drama 'The Fiery Priest' was rescheduled for the finale, Season 2. The live broadcast of the final episode is scheduled on December 21, 2024. This has been postponed to December 27, 2024 because the live broadcast of the 2024 SBS Drama Awards will air on December 21 at 8:35 PM KST.

Episode 11 of 'The Fiery Priest 2' will telecast on December 20, 2024, at 10 PM KST, and the final episode will be telecasted after a week, on December 27, 2024. This 'Fiery Priest' had Kim Nam Gil as his lead, where he makes his comeback as the temper-flared priest, an ex-NIS agent, solving crime puzzles by wit and personality. Joining him are returning cast members Kim Sung Kyun as Goo Dae Young, a clumsy yet hardworking detective, and Honey Lee (Lee Ha Nee) as Park Kyung Sun, a reformed prosecutor who turned over a new leaf in Season 1.

It brings in South Korean singer and actress BIBI, playing the role of narcotics detective Goo Ja Young passionately. She adds freshness to the show, as everybody wants to see more of her in this series.

Director Park Bo Ram and screenwriter Park Jae Bum, who were behind the first season of the show, are back for Season 2. Their previous work has had a great rating across the nation of 24 percent according to Nielsen Korea. Viewers are eager to know whether the new season will also have a good rating.
