TN NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 2: The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Chennai, has updated the schedule for the second round of Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 counselling. According to the revised timeline, the registration process for Round 2 counselling will close on December 17, 2024.Initially, the deadline for registration was December 16, 2024. Eligible candidates listed on the merit list can proceed with the choice-filling process starting December 17. The deadline for completing and locking choices is December 18, 2024, by 10:00 AM. As per the official notification, if candidates do not manually lock their choices by this deadline, their selections will be automatically locked.

The schedule for seat allotment and reporting for Round 2 remains unchanged. The seat allotment results for Tamil Nadu NEET PG 2024 Round 2 will be announced on December 19. Candidates will be able to download their allotment letters until December 28, which is also the final date for reporting to their allotted colleges.

TN NEET PG 2024 Counselling Round 2: Virtual Vacancies and Fee Requirements for Round 2 Allotments

For candidates who were allotted a seat in Round 1 but choose to participate in Round 2 for re-allotment, their initial seat will be considered a virtual vacancy.
This virtual vacancy will only convert to an actual vacancy and become available for others if the Round 1 candidate releases the seat.Additionally, those opting for Diplomate of National Board (DNB) courses under the government quota are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,000. Candidates registering for government quota seats must also pay a refundable security deposit of ₹30,000 unless it has already been paid in an earlier round.Check official notice here.
