Rowoon replaces Cha Eunwoo for the defence ministry’s informative show
The defence ministry releases a regular show titled ‘These Days In The Military,’ where featured people share glimpses of military life with the public. Cha Eunwoo appeared in 4 episodes last year. However, The Hankook Ilbo reported that the videos in which he appeared have now been taken down from the official channel.
The news comes after the actor and his family members became embroiled in an alleged tax evasion case involving a paper company. Now, actor and singer Rowoon, who is also currently serving his mandatory military enlistment, has been chosen to replace the ‘True Beauty’ actor.
Rowoon, best known for his work in ‘Extraordinary You’, ‘The King’s Affection’, and ‘Tomorrow’, has been selected to lead the show going forward. The star is reportedly prepping to film future episodes. The actor joined the South Korean Army on October 27 last year and has been serving in active duty since then.
