Lee Jung Ha enlists in the Marine Corps; agency confirms January 2026 as joining date

Actor Lee Jung Ha is set to begin his mandatory military service in early 2026. The ‘Moving’ star has officially been accepted into the Marine Corps and will report for duty next year, marking a temporary pause in his rapidly rising entertainment career.According to his agency, Namoo Actors, the actor has been formally accepted into the Marine Corps after applying earlier this year. In an official statement released on December 3 (KST), the agency said, “Lee Jung Ha applied to join the Marine Corps and recently received his acceptance notice. He will enlist at the Marine Corps Training Center on January 26, 2026, to fulfill his mandatory military service.”The agency also clarified that there will be no public or private farewell event on the day of enlistment, asking fans to respect the privacy of other recruits and their families. “As the site will be shared by many service members and their families, we kindly ask for fans’ understanding,” the statement added. They further expressed gratitude to fans by saying, “We sincerely thank you for the unwavering love you have shown Lee Jung Ha.
